Recording and performing artist Stephanie White may be most noted for her participation in Season 5 of the television series American Idol where she qualified for "Hollywood week" and progressed into the Top 42 (just before live performances).

"Her soul-infused smokey vocals reflect the remarkable range of Christina Aguilera cut with a fearless Janis Joplin edge. Stephanie always seems to conjure a classic feel with her delivery, and has the unique ability to tug a spectrum of heart strings with her energetic performance. She is a staple artist in our New Jersey pride." - Hope Tree Entertainment, 2013

Stephanie received a number-one ranking for the female singer-songwriter category on OurStage in January 2012, and an honorable mention nod in the May/June 2010 issue of American Songwriter’s Magazine for her original song “Broken”.

In 2009 Stephanie released her sophomore album titled “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things”. The effort was recorded with her original band “Stephanie White and the Philth Harmonic”.
